3月14～17日の4日間，慶応義塾大学三田キャンパスにて，Western Economic Association International (WEAI) が主催する国際学会 WEAI 10th Biennial Pacific Rim Conference が開催され，本プロジェクトもホストとして参加しております。世界40カ国から534名の参加者を集め，140のセッションで423の研究報告が行われました。通常セッションの他にもノーベル賞経済学者ロバート・エングル先生を始め，著名な先生方を招いた基調講演・パネルディスカッションが開催されました。16日に開かれたエングル先生の基調講演は慶応義塾・京都大学の両学生に，最終日のパネルディスカッションは一般の方に，参加・聴講を開放する試みを行い，盛況のうちに閉会することができました。
